I found it quite appropriate for Elizabeth Eliot to be the one reading this book.

Wow! Simply a stunning story. Dive into the primary sources of Jim's letters and Elizabeth's memories in this book. This audio version is fantastic, and Elizabeth adds a few small insights as she reads her work.

Narrator

The narration is far from “good “, but it is perfect for this book. Her emotion is palpable and makes you feel like you are sitting and listening to her in a small group.

Timeless inspiration

So inspiring to listen to the journal and letters that Jim wrote in his short life. He was ready to meet the Lord at his young age because he was a true disciple. I'm glad Elizabeth Allen shared this material. I know some have found areas to criticize but to me this is the heart Jesus is looking for in us as Christians. Willingness to do the will of God at any cost, liviving our lives within the standards of the Word of God.

I loved, through Jim Elliott's writings, being let in on his walk with Jesus. It was so inspirational and so very humbling. Grateful for his life!
