There is nothing surprising here, and it satisfies nonetheless: a short volume of intelligent and well-crafted essays by well-known knitting writers. Perfect company for long stretches of stocking stitch.
Yes, I liked the stories from all the people she interviewed.
Pretty good character voices.
Actually, when everyone talked about how they learned to knit and why they knit now, I really enjoyed that. I could identify with them. I felt as if I was among other knitters.
