lovely Gilda <3

I've read from reviews the hardcopy has more of Gilda. I guess this is what she had recorded.. I'll take it. Comedy misses her!!

Gilda reads her story

I've read so many stories of cancer and death. For me if I am diagnosed it will be stories like this that help me to see that medicine just doesn't have the answers. Medicine sees the cancer patient as a way and means to collect money. I would never use chemo or radiation .

Gilda wasn't meant to grow old. We will all remember her as young. God is ultimately in control of when we all will die.

It’s not what I expected but I appreciated it

This is a great book. I bought it alongside Gene Wilder’s audiobook thinking I’d get two perspective of a great love and instead learned this book is about Gilda Radner’s ongoing battle with cancer.

Radner was very honest about her experiences. She shares embarrassing stories about herself as well as little insights into who she and Gene Wilder were.

My favorite thing about this book are the little moments that show off their love for one another and the brave trust they had in each other.

A worthwhile read, if you’re ok with a somber topic and a little crying.

a true cancer “guide/handbook” for any type of cancer

Gilda shares her true ups and downs of her cancer journey. Every type of cancer patient can benefit from reading this book. The Cancer Wellness Community really made a difference in her cancer journey/ life.
We are lucky in the state of Delaware to have the same place- Cancer Support Community Delaware. These communities are nationwide and you can hopefully find one near you.
“It’s Always Something” is a phrase to embrace-
not be mad at. Hugs .

Heartfelt!

I LOVED EVERYTHING about this Autobiography 💞Being narrated by Gilda herself touched me in a way that makes me want to FIGHT the Good Fight, no matter how hard it becomes 💪🏼I am Grateful and Hopeful that I can be half as Brave and Determined as Gilda was as I learn to cope with my Cancer Journey. Thank you EVERYONE involved with this project; it is a Magnificent "Work of Art" and a "Recipe for a Fruitful Life" ! I hope to meet you Gilda "on the other side". Renee 😍

You probably won’t get it to the full extent until you go through it

Heartfelt and brutally honest.
I applaud Gilda’s honesty in describing her cancer journey.
I have the feeling that her depiction of her disease was a true description of her feelings and not just trying to dazzle anyone with rhetoric.

Audio book just did not hold up ..

Any additional comments?

I have read the book years ago. I highly recommend reading the book. It's a heartbreaking story as told by Gilda with all the honesty and her own humor seeing her through. She tells her story and its hilarious!

The audio book sort of fails this story. Some of the best parts are missing.

Worth the price to hear Gilda again

I read this book many years ago just after Gilda Radner died and was affected by it. I saw this on audible read by the author and couldn't resist. It was worth the price just to hear Gilda tell her own story. She was a beautiful, funny, talented and intellegent woman who lost one hell of a fight against cancer. The story was told a month before she died and she was full of hope for survival. She fought the good fight.

Sad...

What a brave woman who seemed so insecure throughout her life. It was sad to listen to.
