"The border between fact and fiction is amusingly vague here, to the enjoyable entertainment of fans of Kingdom, one of the most popular golf novels ever." (Booklist)
"Golf good, characters fine, prose overblown and leaves little to the imagination, performance cloying"
And there it is. And you say everyone's a critic? For what it's worth, yes, I am that.
Yes, this was one of the best books I have ever listened to. It was produced well, the narrator was excellent. The story was excellent( If you love golf, you will love this book.)
I am just so happening to be playing in Scotland this year and so it made this book that much more special. However I would have enjoyed it either way.
Golf in the Kingdom by Michael Murphy is referenced a lot, and the Missing Link.
Fantastic! He needs to make more books, as he really knows how to narrate a book. He is obviously a professional and understands how to make a book sound as if the author is the one reading..
From the opening to the close, I didnt want it to end. I enjoyed this book immensely and plan to listen again.
