Great content, didn't love the performance

If you've spent much time listening to speakers from England, it quickly becomes apparent that this actress is not English but putting on accent, which seems silly and I think was done simply because the author is English. Just was weird to me. Also, she skips "slashes" (ex, "[put on] your big girl/boy pants" was read as "[put on] your big girl boy pants"). However, content was excellent, so I will be keeping the book. There is so much valuable information and many resources and websites listed.

An extremely informative book!

What made the experience of listening to How to Quit Your Job and Travel the World the most enjoyable?

The very engaging and conversational tone in which it was read. Also, the amount of useful information it provided.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Given the nature of this book, I do not think this question is appropriate.

What about Tiffany Morgan’s performance did you like?

Tiffany Morgan aced this one! Her conversational tone, intonations and vocal variety were all on point. She engaged me from start to finish.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I had no extreme reaction. I just really enjoyed the book.

Any additional comments?

Kate Jordan really gave lots of useful nuggets in this book. I especially liked the fact that she provided reference websites for a number of the topics she explored.

My only drawback was that there was not much information on a non-European context.

Overall, this book was a worthwhile investment given the amount of information provided.

Good ideas to make money travelling abroad

I listened to this with my son. We like the ideas of being a ski instructor. We appreciated the ideas for a young adult with no experience travelling internationally.

Meh...

It was short and cheap so I bought it and got through the whole thing in one day...I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

Buy this in hard copy text.

There is a lot of useful information in this book. Having a physical text copy would be best be able to refer to the information regularly. It would also have the added bonus of escaping this ghastly narration.

Good information. Accent, eh...

Lots of detailed information but the narrator's fake accent was unbearable. I would consider purchasing a copy of this book if I were seriously considering pursuing world travel but to listen to the audio again...never.

Couldn't get past the awful accent

This book could have had potential, but I couldn't listen to the awful narration any longer. The author should have spent a little more $$ to hire a better narrator, or narrated the book herself, as it seemed there could have been good content.

Yuk!

Not for me. Probably not for any man over 40. Maybe, if you’re a 22 year old girl, you may find this useful.

Nothing Revolutionary

Really doesn't offer any insight to how to make things happen. Really more of a motivational read - like "you too can do this!" It's pretty common sense stuff.
