Encompassing and informative

The first half of this audiobook is better than the second half, which is like a repitition of the first but with different actors.

Amazing

Alexander the Great, Julis Ceasar, Ceasar Augustus, mere want-a-be's compared to the Great Khan and his prodigy. The British Empire, Roman Empire, Persian, Masadian, interesting, but the Mongals were amazing. As griping as the Mongal history is, the length and brutality that religions and politics went to hide this history from us from midevil times through the more recent days of racism and communism is eye opening. A great read and a must read for students of any and all history.

I knew nothing about GK learned a tremendous amount from a very “listenable “ book. It was a little repetitious and the author earnestly wanted to set the record straight which he does

If you are not familiar with the history of the Mongolian empire, your understanding of history is very incomplete. This book filled in a big gap in my understanding of western history and how it has been influenced by this great empire.

Magesterial history of the great khan

it was a horde of uneducated simple nomadic horsemen that strode across Asia Europe and the middle east to build the second largest empire in history. following the translation of the mongol secret histories, a detailed picture emerges of a great historical figure who had been unfairly caricatured and in many ways lost to history.

surprisingly fascinating

I only bought this book because it was on sale but it turned out to be a fabulous read. Who knew that jenghis Khan was such a brilliant administrator Kama Progressive thinker, and you neither of different cultures? I highly recommend this book for anyone who is interested in history, management, or culture.
