Be ready to laugh, be angry and cry !

True story about sacrifice. Unbelievable what a man will put him self through for a greater cause. Thank God for all of our men in military!

Great Book!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is by far one of the best books I have listened to in over a year! Adam Brown is a true American Hero, He had faults that he overcame to become a great member of SEAL Team 6. And the best part of the book, is when he came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior!!!!

Would highly recommend.

Yes. I have listened to it more than twice and will listen to it again.

It gave me a feel about how our military experiences life during war and how proud they are to be protecting our country.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh and it made me cry. There were also times that it made me angry. People are giving up their lives and decisions are being made by politicians who have no idea of the reality of the battle field.

Loved the book. What an incredible story of how God redeems our lives. Once I started reading, I could not put it down.

I am so thankful a friend of mine referred me to this book. I was challenged and inspired at many levels -- as a Christian, a man, a husband, a father, and an American. I am so thankful for Adam's life. He did not die in vain. More than once I was listening to the book while running and tearing up because of how moving it was. Eric Blehm did such a great job. His commitment and skill to simply "tell the story" is exemplary. I'm also glad Paul Michael read it. I've purchased multiple copies and have been recommending it and giving it away.

Best Navy SEAL book I've read!

Not to discredit books like American Sniper or lone Survivor, I can honestly say this is the best SEAL story I've heard thus far. I also am a recovering addict and after hearing Adam's story I know it's possible to leave the past in past and accomplish anything I put my mind to.

inspiring in so many ways!

honorable, gripping, purely inspirational, and an absolute story of Triumph! Adam's story and the way Eric Blehm told his story was inspirational to me and so many ways!

The SEAL aspect is stunning, but he unconditional love without enablement of Adam's wife and parents makes the book a must read!

Not to take away from the SEAL team aspect of Adam, but most stunning is Adam's girlfriend then wife & his parents unconditional love - while not being enablers makes the book a must read.

Worth your time ... worth your tears! Adam Brown was a true hero with scars, faults, a past, in other words ... a human who kept fighting - not only his inner demons, but for his family, his country and God. This is not a book I would typically read, but was paging through my options and this book had been downloaded. I'm sure I bought it as a "Daily Deal" for under two dollars and thought, "why not, I might run out of books". I am here to say - pay full price if you have to - it is worth it!
