Highest praise- no cursing - excellent reader

I literally spent the last chapter of this book in loud noisy tears!!!

I have a whole new respect for our special forces of our military (it was pretty high already). It was so refreshing to listen to an autobiography of a military nature with no cursing!! And the love he has for his wife to honor her above all else on this earth and his family and his country.

I’m an emotional wreck but loved every minute of this book.

What I loved most is how well the reader gets to know Adam Brown. By the end, it's like you've known him your whole life.

What does Paul Michael bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His voice has great emotion during the most difficult parts of the book. He really emphasized the scriptures very well.

This audio book is fantastic! I am impressed and inspired by the story of Adam Brown and the rest of the military community. This book is a must read if you enjoy military or inspirational books!

best book I've ever read I have read it 5 times and will read it again

Gripping biography of an exceptional SEAL

I already had the book in my Kindle library, but I wanted to include the audio narration to my library. This was quite a story and a fitting tribute to the subject of it. After reading and listening to the narration. I find my trials and tribulations fairly easy to overcome in comparison to what Adam Brown (SOC) endured. I will refrain from revealing anything beyond this point and only urge readers to pick this book up: especially now as memorial day approaches. The narrator was quite good. As it is with audiobooks, you take what you are given and the narration sounded fine with male voices nonetheless it did come off as a little strange when he tried mimicing the female characters. This is a minor point and did not detract from an otherwise enjoyable book.

This is truly an amazing story, almost beyond belief. It's well written and narrated. It had me in tears.

The character and courage of Adam Brown is epic. Not only the smallest guy with a fearless attitude, but funny as a class clown. A true hero that wanted his full story told. From small town kid, to drug addiction, to a Navy Seal.
