Fearless takes you deep into SEAL Team SIX and straight to the heart of one of its most legendary operators.
When Navy SEAL Adam Brown woke up on March 17, 2010, he didn’t know he would die that night in the Hindu Kush Mountains of Afghanistan - but he was ready: In a letter to his children, not meant to be seen unless the worst happened, he wrote, “I’m not afraid of anything that might happen to me on this earth, because I know no matter what, nothing can take my spirit from me.”
Long before Adam Brown became a member of the elite SEAL Team SIX - the counterterrorism unit that took down Osama bin Laden - he was a fun-loving country boy from Hot Springs, Arkansas, whose greatest goal had been to wear his high school’s football jersey. An undersized daredevil, prone to jumping off roofs into trees and off bridges into lakes, Adam was a kid who broke his own bones but would never break a promise to his parents.
But after high school, Adam fell in with the wrong crowd, and his family watched as his appetite for risk dragged him into a downward spiral that eventually landed him in jail. Battling his inner demons on a last-chance road to redemption, Adam had one goal: to become the best of the best - a US Navy SEAL.
An absorbing chronicle of heroism and humanity, Fearless presents an indelible portrait of a highly trained warrior who would enter a village with weapons in hand to hunt terrorists, only to come back the next day with an armload of shoes and meals for local children. It is a deeply personal, revealing glimpse inside the SEAL Team SIX brotherhood that also shows how these elite operators live out the rest of their lives, away from danger, as husbands, fathers and friends.
Fearless is the story of a man of extremes, whose courage and determination was fueled by faith, family, and the love of a woman. It’s about a man who waged a war against his own worst impulses and persevered to reach the top tier of the US military. Always the first to volunteer for the most dangerous assignments, Adam’s final act of bravery led to the ultimate sacrifice.
Adam Brown was a devoted man who was an unlikely hero but a true warrior, described by all who knew him as fearless.

This book spoke to me on so many different levels. It was relational in that I could place a number of my family members and myself in parts of the life journey that was Adam Brown. The author did a wonderful job of illustrating and representing the life of a true American hero, Adam Brown. I pray that God will mold me to the husband and father that Adam was. I look forward to meeting him one day in Heaven. I highly recommend this book to everyone. I am changed by it.
This book was written then read by amazing people. At times it gets a bit heavy listening to Adams life drama but well worth persevering to the end!
Great read kept my attention and gained a new respect and outlook for those that serve at Adams capacity.
As a non military civilian, I could never understand or relate to any military books and their stories these guys tell. That's just the truth.....until now!
I love reading all I can about how tough (mentally and physically) these elite soldiers are and all the adversity they overcome because of one thing. NEVER QUITTING!
Fearless allows you (at least me) to be able to relate to Adam in some form or fashion throughout the trials and tribulations from his stories in this book.
I love getting the background stories on these guys, and Adam's is one for books!
Adam brown inspires people to overcome and persevere thru any obstacle in ones life and to always remember that we are all "NEVER OUT OF THE FIGHT!!
Amazing book!!! Adam Brown was the ultimate christian, father, husband, and warrior. Everyone should be required to hear his testimony and how accepting Jesus Christ into his life changed him forever
One of my new favorite stories. A story about courage through many challenges and being able to rise up against the odds.
The author does a great job of leaving his personal voice out of it and personal opinions and tells the story as it should be told.
I was hooked from the beginning to the end. This is amazing writing, to say the least. Each character introduced became people I felt like I knew as they're part became their story by it's own right. I ran a gauntlet of emotion throughout the entire book. I myself, relived all the worries a military wife goes through, even though my husband is no longer in the Corp. These SEALS give everything they have to complete SEAL training and become the men they aspire to be and beyond. I am grateful for all branches of the military and to the men and women out there fighting the fight for everyone. The knowledge of how Adam's story began and ended brought a power of "please don't let him die this way" with every chapter. My heart goes out to our military and their families. God bless and keep you all safe. And God bless America.
This biography is one of the most touching books I've heard. Adam's was a life of redemption and ultimate sacrifice.
