Great uplifting speeches

Ram Das is very good at teaching while entertaining. He uses many stories to help you to relate to the princibles he is teaching. Very interesting. A good choice.

Quality of Audio is bad and garbled...

It is very difficult to understand. So, while the content may be excellent, it's to hard to understand. I suggest that Sounds True enhance the audio quality of the original taps and republish. I'm certain Ram Dass has a lot of wonderful insights to share here.

Great!

Ram Dass gives us his life experiences here in a way that profoundly enlightens while keeping his unbelievable gift of humor. A perfect combination. What a gift to listen to his words. You wont be disapointed

Great Historical Record of Ram Dass

I have listened to Ram Dass for many years on borrowed cassette tapes shared between afficianado's. I was very surprised and pleased to find many of the lectures all in one place. Although the quality is poor on many of them (as they are on the tapes also), the stories and messages are timeless. The first lecture I believe is the Heart of Compassion. The second lecture was recorded in 1970 when he first arrived back from India and details many of his experiences at Harvard and his relationship with Timothy Leary and his first experiences with the Indian Spiritual Leader. I haven't listened to the rest of the lectures yet so cannot comment as what else is contained within the book.

I am hoping his lecture to the American Psychological Association (APA) called seasons of change is also in this one...

As always, Ram Dass is moving, humorous and thought (or should I say spiritually) provoking. A must have for any Ram Dass listener.

poor quality, not mp3 available

I love Ram Dass...but this is a muffled poor quality recording compared to any of the cds or past audiotapes I have owned...AND I am new to this setting and did not realize it is not an mp3 download so I am stuck with trying to listen in my car or on my computer neither of which is a place I want to sit and listen...BUYER's Remorse

Master Storyteller!

I love the way he threads humor into our pain and he weaves his magical wisdom into life stories to come to brilliant insights about finally coming back to ourselves.
