    "Great history"

This is another great listen for anyone interested in presidental history. Each review is not too long but you feel you still get a great deal of history about each man.

    "Good History: Lame Politics"

The writing and narration are very good. The occasional transparent jabs at the Bush Administration are a bit strange for historical works, but, the writers are myopic journalists and not historians. It is still a good listen.

    Story
    "Washington/Jefferson/Grant"
What was one of the most memorable moments of Eminent Lives?

I bought the book to hear Jefferson, having recently read John Adams. However, since I knew nothing at all about Grant (other than the little I learned in early history classes) I was fascinated by the entire section on Grant.

Have you listened to any of Sam Tsoutsouvas’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not, but he is an absolutely outstanding artist. Deeper masculine voice very well modulated. I enjoyed every word.

Although this book didn't wow me, I did like it and I enjoyed this listen, especially the first part.
