The Appalachian Trail trail stretches from Georgia to Maine and covers some of the most breathtaking terrain in America - majestic mountains, silent forests, sparking lakes. If you’re going to take a hike, it’s probably the place to go. And Bill Bryson is surely the most entertaing guide you’ll find. A fun read

Thanks for taking me along Liz!
I thoroughly enjoyed the time that I spent with Liz traveling across the world. Her ability to describe everything made me feel like I was there with her. Definitely hard to put down. A sad start to a triumphant ending!

Phenomenal journey!

Refreshing
I was very late to the party, haven't seen the movie and haven't read the book. I am so happy that my first date with the story was narrated by the author, this makes it extremely nice and entertaining. highly recommend it that way!
