Dying to Be Me: My Journey from Cancer, to Near Death, to True Healing

In this truly inspirational audio book, Anita Moorjani relates how, after fighting cancer for almost four years, her body began shutting down - overwhelmed by the malignant cells spreading throughout her system. As her organs failed, she entered into an extraordinary near-death experience (NDE) where she realized her inherent worth... and the actual cause of her disease. Upon regaining consciousness, Anita found that her condition had improved so rapidly that she was released from the hospital within weeks - without a trace of cancer in her body!

In this truly inspirational audio book, Anita Moorjani relates how, after fighting cancer for almost four years, her body began shutting down - overwhelmed by the malignant cells spreading throughout her system. Upon regaining consciousness, Anita found that her condition had improved so rapidly that she was released from the hospital within weeks - without a trace of cancer in her body!

Anita had been pushed and pulled by cultural and religious customs since she was a little girl. After years of struggling to forge her own path while trying to meet everyone else’s expectations, she had the realization, as a result of her epiphany on the other side, that she had the power to heal herself... and that there are miracles in the Universe that she’d never even imagined.

In Dying to Be Me, Anita freely shares all she has learned about illness, healing, fear, “being love,” and the true magnificence of each and every human being!

    Story
"We are spirits - temporarily in ego, mind and body"

It is comforting to know that our spirit continues to live when our body dies. Anita’s experience and development of awareness from the NDE experience to being healed from cancer is a spiritual miracle. If you are a skeptic to NDE experiences, this book will give confirmation from a medical profession that this fantastic medical miracle actually happened. In my opinion, the message if this book has mind-plowing implications for all of humanity.

It is fantastic to know that such healing is possible. And even though I deeply respect and admire the medical profession for helping many people, this book is a reminder of how the medical profession is limiting its development by requiring scientific proof for anything to be accepted as real. The truth is that life after death is very real, even if spiritual consciousness currently cannot be scientifically documented or measured. (Einstein's theories were always true...even before we were able to make the scientific proof)

I want to thank Anita Moorjani for reminding us that we are spirits who only temporarily live in an ego, mind and body. She reminds us that we are all connected and that we are love and we are deeply loved, and that we can find heaven on earth.

    Story
"A second chance few are afforded"
Would you consider the audio edition of Dying to Be Me to be better than the print version?

    NO.

What did you like best about this story?

That it really happened. Anita's honesty about her life, dreams and aspirations and faults. Her insights and the power of the insights to change our physiology and perception.

Have you listened to any of Anita Moorjani’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes. When she realized she had such power and that she had spent her whole life giving away this power to people and institutions external to her.

    Any additional comments?

Anita reminds us that we come into this world truly magnificent and that we should never forget this. We come from spirit, we are spirit and we return to spirit. The journey here is a spiritual one. The magic of life exists in the spiritual realm. Most disease is just an outward reflection of being spiritually lost. The true path back to health and wellness is to reconnect with our spiritual essence.

    "Fantastic Book"
What did you love best about Dying to Be Me?

    The whole journey itself.

    Which scene was your favorite?

The near death, return and miraculous healing.

    Any additional comments?

A fantastic book with awesome back story, build up and climax. I would add one personal note and that is a statement to everyone. Life can be hard on this world, it may be difficult to make the right choices for a better tomorrow, but for the sake of yourself and this world, do not take the easy way out of life and just relax and treat yourself to whatever. Keep in mind that your actions create the world and sometimes purchasing sacrifice is necessary to help our world out of the sate of abuse it is now in.

This is in regards to Anita's change in lifestyle after her NDE. Not saying Anita just does whatever now and doesn't care about the industries she supports with her diet choices or otherwise. I'm just saying not to interpret her change in lifestyle to one of complacency and ignorance to the worlds suffering.

I'm sure anyone with even the slightest interest in spirituality or NED will love this book! :) <3

The narrative was as beautiful as the story, very inspired! A Master piece!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Take that Einstein! It has all happened already.

    Any additional comments?

Next edition? Building the new world order to last out 500,000 years in peace. Move this awareness beyond the walls of religious taboo, economic borders, and lethargic preoccupation. Once seen, this light can never be dimmed. Once heard this nightingale song will vibrate through the veils that keep us apart. Through her courage Ms. Moorjani has given us one more strand in the bridge to hopefulness for mankinds purposeful existence.

This was an extremely powerful story, especially since the narrator was the author herself.

Being a cancer survivor, I loved the positive message this story told.

    "A RECIPE FOR HAPPINESS"

A truly inspiring rendition. Best I have read in the genre! The unconditional love she experienced for herself and all of humanity can be "felt" as you listen. She expresses the ineffable better than most. Only some of the mystic saints have done as well or better. Highly recommend!
