Touching and insightful
I don't cry easily, but I got weepy eyed for this book. I can't say it is totally sad, but it has moments. I loved it, and I didn't know I would. As often as I would get frustrated with the author, I would be totally disarmed by her more. This is excellent.

Loved this book !
I consider myself to be a tough cookie - except when I read a compelling story about a horse or a dog, or other animal. Then I have to reach for the Kleenex. This was such a heartwarming and heartbreaking story.

Grab your tissues
Such a beautiful story for any horse lover. The horses came to life with this beautiful book. I also loved the author's sense of humor.

Perfect book for a horse lover!<3
I loved this book! As a horse lover I would definitely recommend this book to other horse lovers. You can feel the love between laymedown and her owner. Such a great book.

For horse lovers!
I have never in all my life imagined such a book. It's so true, horse owners, riders and all horse lovers know what it is to loose a beloved horse. It's beautifully written, heartfelt and true; all people that have lived with horses all their lives know what loosing one is. Please read, and help save those poor horses that are starved, used for unethical medications,
like Premarin and help. We can all do a lot to make their lives happier.

wonderful read
They're never in our lives long enough but they leave deep hoof prints on our hearts & teach us valuable lessons if we open up enough to accept them. Narration was good too! I miss new old friends already.

Great story of a horse's genuine love
If you're a horse lover, you'll appreciate this story. Horses have personalities just like all animals do, including human animals. Every once in a while, there will be an animal who endured abuse, but rather than becoming jaded, will remain open and loving. This author was one of the lucky ones who encountered such a sweet soul.
