Good story, bad book
This was a story worth telling but it is not written well. It is repetitive, full of cliches (religious and otherwise) and much too self-conscious. I finished it since it was for book club but turned it off several times because It was so annoying.

Fascinating true story.
If you could sum up Breaking Cover in three words, what would they be?
Amazing what this woman accomplished in the CIA after thinking everyone else was smarter than she was. Trusting always in God for his work in her life. Working together with her husband in some of the worst places and conditions in the world.
What does Michele Rigby Assad bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Having felt many times that I wasn't as smart as other people after starting work in a man's field and succeeding. Knowing that other women have felt the same.

Riveting
I loved this book. It was also a treat to listen to the author read her own story.
I learned so much about our countries intelligence and appreciate that she went to the trouble to break her cover and share with fellow citizens.
