I now like Tina Fey!

This audio book appeared to be a favorite for pretty much every listener so I decided to check it out and I loved it! I cannot say that for every 4-5 star audio book I've purchased and returned, but if you have been disappointed and have given up, pick this one up! I always feel guilty listening to the books instead of reading them, but after work reading is the last thing I want to do or stare at a computer and this book with Tina's hilarious voices was worth it. Tina Fey deserves all her acclaim and I am now a fan of hers. I hope I get lucky with other ones from audible.

Tina Fey hit a homerun with Bossypants. A great listen for nearly anyone. Funny yet seriously serious at times too.

Hmm...I'm not sure I have another book in my mind to compare this one to.

Yes. This is the best so far.

Yes, but mainly if the friend is a fan of Tina Fey or enjoys watching her performances. I loved it.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved hearing the actual Saturday Night Live skits of Tina Fey playing Sarah Palin and how that came about.

What does Tina Fey bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I'm sure the book would have been as entertaining to read, but there is nothing like hearing Tina reading it.

Not enough

My only criticism is that I want more! Or I hope she writes another one! And perhaps some more feminism sprinkled in.

Tina Fey is a fabulous writer! She presents an humorous take on a rich, demanding life! Congratulations on keeping us entertained whilst learning, laughing and heartily listening! A great read! 💫💫💫💫💫

A teenager's exposure to Tina

I was in middle school when I listened to this. As an adult now, I can clearly understand the humor and the wit of Tina, from SNL to 30 Rock to this book. But back then, I was trying really hard to get the point of this "popular white lady who is very funny". I didn't laugh loudly at every corner, but I started to stop here and there and think things over and chuckle.
This is such a good book, because it's so easy to get lost in it. Tina is a great actress, so her voice naturally draws you in. The stories are personal with her classic wit, so it's like 30 Rock on paper (or in ear for this). If you are really just looking for something to make your day and be relaxed, I recommend this book a lot. My stumbling across this book five years ago still make me thankful in some way for shaping the way I treat funny things. Now have such high standard for funniness that people think I am weird for not laughing at memes (they just too low, thanks Tina!)

one of the funniest books I've ever listened to. I didn't know much about Tina Fay before this book, now I find myself wanting more from her!! I didn't want this book to end.

Great story and read. Tina is so talented and real it simply makes for a great story. Although I have the book, the audible was hilarious.

Funny Lady

Funny author, also. This was an enjoyable listening experience; and you must pay attention as the jokes and clever dialogue are non-stop.

Why did I not read this til now? And by read I mean listen to… it’s been in my wish list forever. Tina Fey is amazing. I realize now she is also a regular person who is anxiety ridden just like the rest of us!! Really great and funny read!
