The Appalachian Trail trail stretches from Georgia to Maine and covers some of the most breathtaking terrain in America - majestic mountains, silent forests, sparking lakes. Funny outsider perspective into life in USA and UK
What made the experience of listening to Bill Bryson Collector's Edition the most enjoyable?
Quirky sense of humor that makes you chuckle.

Amazing book, specially the travel section.

wonderful and very very funny
I love there stories they very funny recommend listening to the books when your not in public places, as you end up being taken away in the back of some strange van, in a straight jacket

Quirky and mostly fun
While Bill and I have different takes on a lot of subjects, I enjoyed most of his writing. The parts where he used exaggeration without really clueing the reader/listener in got under my skin. Other times it was obvious, but not always. Perhaps, like him, I am an idiot. I think not, but perhaps.
