God shows grace
Steven's family dealing with the tragic accident that took the life of their youngest daughter, and how they bounced back over time.
Afraid I can't pick one.
A must-have for fans of Steven Curtis Chapman's music.
SCC has been a favorite of mine since the beginning of his career. This book actually makes me appreciate his ministry more. I appreciated the openness and honesty of this testimony. As he opened his life through this, it really did encourage me to realize the he too has struggled to know how to honor his family and follow the path that God had laid. We all struggle, but the key is to allow GOD to be in control. we as men cannot be fixers and we cannot be wholly responsible for another's happiness. Our goal, to love our wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her. Thanks SCC for being faithful!
absolutely love this book it was life changing for me Steven and Ken have done a great job writing this book together this is not a book that you listen to one time and then put it away this is a book that we need to listen to on going for the rest of our lives because it is the book says life's not easy but God is good.
A kid at heart who loves to hear people's stories and to laugh.
As a person with a visual impairment and ADHD audio books have rekindled my love of reading. I loved reading the book, but could also catch things I missed by listening. And the book has pictures :)
That's a hard one, but I'd have to say the way Steven spoke of Maria's death and all that happened afterwards. The way that God placed people and things in their lives at just the right time, and the way that God used Maria's story in so many lives was so powerful.
I think Steven's sharing how he wrote "Cinderella"
This book brought back so many memories, Steven's music is such a part of my spiritual journey, including praying for him and his family after Maria died. The only thing missing was hearing him narrate the book himself, but Paul Michael did a great job.
If you've ever seen Steven Curtis Chapman in concert you know that it's almost impossible to not leave encouraged. This book is no different.
