Put together by a third grader? They seem to put a liberal socialist twist on each person. Even poor Abe Lincoln seems to get shot because of his views on gun control.
This is a book about very fascinating person, but the book was not very fascinating. It could be useful for very young pupils to learn about these people. For the grown up listener it gives you the basic information in a very abridged, rather soulless way. I did not like that every entry was in the 'I' form, like it was written by the person himself. Perhaps a good trick if you will capture the attention of young listeners, but I surely did not like to be patronized like this. The only positive result of listening to a book like this, is that you might be encouraged to listen to a real biography.
