Another Winner!

Another winner from the pen of Gayle Buck with a delightful narration by Julia Eve. This is a great team!
In this one you are entertained by all the happenings and romance of the other twin sister, Belle, as she falls in love with her beau, Lord Ashton.
We meet his 'dragon' of a mother and there is certainly a great deal of amusement when she is made to see the truth about Belle.
It is a good, clean, Regency Romance and I must say that I enjoyed it tremendously.
My voluntary review above is written having listened to the audiobook version and it is based on my personal thoughts and impressions about it.

Clean Regency Romance; case of mistaken identity

Story: 5 stars

Belle has lived with her overbearing Grandfather and managed him quite well. She has always longed to experience society and is a bruising horsewoman and frightened of nothing. Her chance to go to London and partake of the entertainments of the season finally arrives when her aunt and uncle agree to sponsor her.

Lord Ashton has returned to England with one purpose in mind: marry a woman, get her with child to protect the line of succession and leave when war begins again.

Lord Ashton had recovered from a serious wound in Bath and met a young woman who he is hoping to find again and try to woo.

Surprisingly, he finds her in London and she is nothing like he remembers. In fact, she doesn't acknowledge that they've met. But, still, he is intrigued by her.

Belle thinks that Lord Ashton is very handsome, but sometimes he gives her the cold shoulder for no reason she can comprehend.

Enter the fact that Belle is an identical twin and the ensuing mix-ups are finally cleared up.

This is a delightful companion book to "Cassandra's Deception", the first book in this two-book series.

Narration: 5 stars

Julia Eve is an amazing voice actress with an arsenal of various voices at her disposal! Her acting is stellar and her timing, emotion and nuances are top-notch!

Belle’s Beau

A delightful sequel to Cassandra’s Deception. It can be a stand alone, but much better if you have read the first one. Cute, clean regency romance.

mistaken identity

I enjoyed the mistaken identity first by the suitor and them his mum. Mum was a real snooty pickle and didn't like admitting her error. This was enjoyable, but not near the edge of you seat
listen as the previous book . I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job with voices and accents bringing it to life.

Double Trouble

Belle, an identical twin, is a lively young woman who seeks out excitement wherever she is. She needs to find someone who can keep up with her exuberance for life. Confusion abounds as both one of her suitors mistakes her for her twin, and she in turn doesn’t understand the hot and cold nature of the man. A fun story with a great reader!
