Great for help in spiritual growth

I listened to the audio book version of this book and ended up buying a paper copy to dive in and “chew” on it more! The paper copy will allow me to write down the scriptures and use what is being taught in a slower way.

Often times while listening in my car on the Bluetooth I felt I was not being able to get all that I could out of just listening.

My paper back arrived so I look forward to reading it and absorbing it!

Wow, what an excellent book!!

I don’t normally write reviews. In fact, this is my first Audible review. I was reviewing Dutch’s intercessory prayer book and looking at reviews. I then decided to buy it, and mistakenly ended up buying this book “Who You Are”. At first I was frustrated, but then felt a peace that it wasn’t a mistake. I can’t get over how awesome this book was, and how much I got out of it. The revelation of the soul vs the spirit was eye opening. I am a fellow CFNI alumni, and Dutch was one of my teachers during my time there. He was amazing and in-depth back then and now he continues to impress. Dutch, thank you for being sensitive to the Holy Spirit and for putting in words a wonderful way to bring our souls under the influence of the Holy Spirit!

Amazingly helpful

This book helped me to grow in my understanding of the Gospel. It doesn’t make sense to become a Christian and for life to still be works based. Jesus came to set us free; Dutch does a great job at helping the reader to understand our God given freedom in Christ!

Faithfulness of God and Hope over Despair

Who are we? We are who the creator of all things all we know and all we don’t, knit us in our mothers womb — completely unique, perfect for our created purpose. All the issues we have brought to fix our brokenness our injuries our circumstances - our upbringing, our generational patterns of culture not based in truth of God or faith; our accidents, our hurts where predators affected us, we like with shock survive somehow. But as with shock those solutions will kill us. We are not truly free healed or delivered. Dutch Sheets shares his own failures and what I call idols or strongholds of the soul and mind and how relationship with the Logos - both written and spoken with true relationships with ekklesia (Bride of Christ) are essential to freedom — ongoing process in our journey. May God use the realities of this book — Scripturally based — bring the fullness and joy you were created. Fully Alive! He is my Strength and my Song (Ps 118). Respectively Bill

Excellent Truths

I'm glad I got this book, it's pretty good. I recommend it to all who are on the path of spiritual growth and you feel you're missing something, a piece of truth, in order to grow closer to God and becoming the person God envisions you to become.

I love Dutch Sheets. His writing is so annointed, honest, easily understood and easy to apply. This book helped me get focused on what's really important, and broke off some of the religious lies I have believed! Also beautifully read..I might add :)
