My 2 cents

Very helpful and insightful. The occasional slip in choice of language was distracting( the f word particularly) and did not add anything to the reading and actually sounded like it was being done to somehow be accepted by whoever she perceived to be her audience. Fortunately there were not many instances . I'd suggest editing the language for the next edition.

Week 1-Purged all Self-Help from my media

For over 30 years I’ve been on a journey of self improvement. The first step of BARE helped me to realize- I don’t need fixing. I’m fully cooked and it’s time to just Be and Enjoy!

Gone are all the podcasts- replaced with hilarious comedic women. Gone are the Facebook groups - replaced with travel and adventure groups. Gone are the daily email subscriptions- replaced with... free time for me!

Infomercial

There is a few good chapters and the rest of the book is a long infomercial. Not much useful content. Just a long sales pitch.

Yasss!!!!

Susan Hyatt is my jam.
I loved this book, and plan to comeback to it at least every month.
The best thing about this book, was it felt like I was remembering things that I already know to be true.
I needed this. Thank you girl. You are an answer to prayer.
You put wind back into my sails and helped me think a new thought.
Forever grateful.

Some inspiring nuggets

I found there to be a few inspiring mantras to take from this book but some of it is a bit cheesy. She started to lose me when she listed different exercise types...things I could Google.

Nothing much

I feel like this is well review of the book STOP Sabotaging your Weight Loss by Jennifer Power. It all ideas I heard before. No new information other then calling it bare. LOL
