Amazing!!!

Amazing incredible I absolutely love the story again Runyx has in a chokehold. I absolutely love all her books.

Worth the wait!

This was everything I hoped it would be , I couldn’t wait for the release and purchased the physical book as well as the audible , it’s everything you look for in a gothic academia romance , it’s dark, mysterious has characters you can care about a great mystery throughout and a mysterious dark hot MMC. Just wish it would have lasted longer , finished it too quick .

This story was visceral and all consuming. I absolutely loved it! I related so much to the FMC, being a person who is always felt alone and flying the under radar for the majority of life. The Author wrote of dark emotions beautifully, it grabbed my heart. The MMC was delicious. The female narrator knocked this out of the freaking park!

Had me hooked!

Cast did such a great job. I think their voices for the characters so well with how I envision them in my brain!

Such a beautiful story

It is one thing to love a book as a form of escapism. To find characters within fantasy to fiend over, to leave reality behind you and fall into step with those of different words, of prophecy and magic. For a while this had been my way of getting through my own life.
It is entirely different to feel yourself being picked apart from writing you can relate to. This book had picked my brain with the mystery, had held a magifying glass to thoughts that had haunted me, the unknown of my feelings or how to express those, to understand others with their emotions, too. Even if fictional, to walk side by side with a character that speaks the same words you’ve said to yourself. To feel included in your own exclusivity. Agreeing alongside her through tears and understanding. It is normal, I am normal. Even if a little odd and different
Their love, so raw and beautiful beyond measure. I’ve spent my life looking for someone like Caz, and will be waiting forever. Though I am one that struggles, mentally with the separation of fiction and reality. This is the hardest. Not about the horror side of dark romance, but the passion, it’s unlike any other. The need and yearning. It’s otherworldly.

Hauntingly beautiful!

This is one of the most perfectly executed dark academia novel! It has creepiness, mystery, secrets, a sexy mmc, a haunted fmc, a dark atmosphere, two different yet deeply disturbing backstories, a few funny side characters, but best of all someone who understands what you hold inside, the unimaginable things floating in your head, just enough for someone to call you crazy or weird or strange. Enough to keep people at bay, but this story accepts the cruelty of the world and turns it beautiful. If you love a good mystery and some kinky scenes, a must read!

I binged Enigma in one day, and it’s almost as phenomenal as Gothikana! RuNyx is a dark academia queen, crafting a haunting, gothic world at Mortimer University that hooked me instantly. Salem’s quest to unravel her sister’s death, paired with her sizzling rivals-to-lovers chemistry with Caz, is packed with suspense, steam, and secret societies. The prose is poetic, and the story’s intensity kept me glued to my headphones.
Jaclyn Kelso and Aiden Snow’s narration brings Salem and Caz to life, perfectly capturing their passion and tension. I wished for duet-style narration, but their performances were still captivating.
