"Bird Droppings" would more aptly describe the moldering Pepto Bismol - pink dump. There's also a murderously grumpy old lady who has claimed squatter's rights and isn't moving out. Ever.

Almost a DNF because of the narrator
Story is good. Enjoyed it. But I should have read the actual book and not the Audible version because the narrator’s different voices were so cringy. One character sounded like Minnie Mouse, another like Elmer Fudd. Lots of over-acting and silliness. It was so distracting from the story for me. Unpopular opinion, probably, but I’ll avoid this narrator in the future.

What a Mystery
I always can trust Mary Kay Andrews to give us a great story and Kathleen McInerney combines for a great narration. I was glued all the way through. A little bit of romance didn't hurt either.

I didn't want it to end
I listened to this book in one day!! it's 2am and I just finished. so sad its over. there was a bit of mystery, some romance, a bit a drama, the book kept me wanting to know what happened. there are lots of well developed characters. I would love for there to be a sequel to this book. I know I'll miss everyone who works at the saint!

More than a beach read
The plot kept the reader on the edge of their seat wanting to know what happens next. The characters in the book came alive with vivid descriptions that kept my interest. Love it, love it!! 😍

Reminded me so much of my time at Sea Island!
I loved the allusions to St Simons and Sea Island! Always a great read and I love this narrator! Absolutely my favorite author!

So good!!
I grew up on St. Simons Island and frequently still visit the Cloister on Sea Island. So many references put me right back there! The book has it all— humor, angst, romance, action, danger… I wish there was more to listen to!!
