An Interesting Mystery

This is an enjoyable listen if you enjoy mysteries with some suspense. First, Robert Thornhill, gives us the history of the mansion then Walt and Maggie's adventure begins. There's plenty of mystery, humor, and suspense for a really enjoyable listen. The narrator, George Kuch, does an excellent job with character voices. His voice is deep and he reads at a nice cadence. If you're a mystery lover then you will enjoy this story, it's fun and not dark. I will be looking into more of this series. If the rest of the books are anything like this one then it'll be worth my time to get them.

Mystery, intrigue & an old mansion

Each Lady Justice novel is its own story, with a plot unconnected from the others. I love this, because it also gives each book its own feel. While other installments were full of action & suspense, this was full of intrigue while Walt & Maggie dug up old clues about a mansion they purchased. I loved the discoveries they made about the history of the place & seeing it all come together to make one complete picture. As always the story was captivating & the narration brought all my favorite characters to life!

Touched my heart

Yes, the book touched my heart. Not something you'd read in a review about a mystery novel about a haunted mansion. I wasn't too fond of the narrator, I felt like there wasn't too much of a difference between character's voices, but the story line was great which was enough to keep me going . I really liked how the different fatal events were played out at the beginning of the book, introducing you to all the ghosts pasts but he only gave you just enough details to keep you wanting more. As the mansion is being renovated, each story begins to unfold more as clues are being discovered.

I was deeply moved by the baby's story, the bible verse included in there brought tears to my eyes. It was beautiful, perhaps because I'm a mother and lost a baby during pregnancy but I truly enjoyed every detail in the story.

GREAT READ, GREAT SERIES

Lady Justice and the Mystery Mansion is my thirty-third enjoyable read/listen from author Robert Thornhill. Another entertaining clean read, filled with puns & one-liners although shorter than most at less than three hours. Throughout the book I found myself smiling a lot & at times laughing out loud. Each book in the series seems better than the last as Thornhill continues to up his game. Narrator George Kuch again adds greatly to the listening enjoyment with his wide variety of entertaining voices & inflections, Kuch IS Walt Williams! I’ll definitely be reading more from Thornhill! I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. Up next is Lady Justice and Good vs. Evil. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Lady Justice and the Mystery Mansion

This was not your typical Lady Justice book, but I really enjoyed it. As Walt and Maggie undertake the project of renovating an old mansion, they discover that all of the previous owners had faced serious tragedies. Would the curse continue?

As work was done on the mansion, it was a perfect way for Robert Thornhill to bring back some of the characters from prior books. I always enjoy how Mr. Thornhill is able to tie the different books together.

This was another outstanding narration by George Kuch. Always a pleasure to listen to his performances.

Incredible Story!!!

Lady Justice and the Mystery Mansion is one of my very favorites by Robert Thornhill. Old historic homes have always appealed to me. I love the character and details and stories that they hold. Maggie plays a larger role in this book, which is refreshing to hear. This book starts out with history of the area and weaves together many families who lived in the mansion. I found the spirits in the house to be pique my imagination. There are several cameo appearances by some of my favorite characters in the Lady Justice series. This book is a standalone listen, and part of a series. George Kuch performs the various characters with his distinguishable voices for each one of them. I love how consistent he is for the voices of Walt, Maggie, Mary, Ox, Kevin, etc. over the entire series. I can't wait for the next adventure of Walt and Lady Justice.

Love the Lady Justice series

This story a short listen but still contained all the components of the stories I love so much. Walt and Maggue buy a decripited mansion and while they are restoring it they set right the curses of the past down to the Indian medical man that set forth the curse. Join them in an amazing story. Spooky This Old House

This is my first Lady Justice story, and I enjoyed it. It's a bit of This Old House mixed with CSI and curses.

The narrator lent an "everyman" vibe to the telling which fit well.
