The scent of destiny...the danger in desire.

Raven Award Finalist - Favorite Paranormal Romance

Lana Dixon knows well enough to steer clear of alpha males, but Ty Hawthorne is as impossible to avoid as the sizzling Arizona sun. Her inner wolf just won’t give up on the alpha who’s tall, dark, and more than a little dangerous. One midnight romp under the full moon is enough for Lana to know she’ll risk her life for him - but what about her pride?

Ty puts duty above everything - even the overwhelming instinct that says Lana’s the one. She’s the Juliet to his Romeo: Forbidden. And with a pack of poaching rogues closing in, it’s hardly the time to yield to his desires. Or is love just what this lonely alpha needs to set his spirit free?

There’s more than meets the eye on Twin Moon Ranch, home to a pack of shapeshifting wolves willing to battle for life and love.

A paranormal romance with adult content. The perfect listen for fans of strong heroines, alpha heroes, werewolves and shapeshifters, bad-boy bikers, red-hot cowboys, romantic westerns, paranormal suspense, action-adventure romance, and fantasy romance!

Desert Moon

What a great start to this series! You are gripped from the very beginning and will be cheering on Lana and Ty all the way until the end. Both of these wolves thought they missed out on having a mate long ago and fight the pull towards each other for so long. Luckily their wolves are very determined to find the HEA no matter how their human side fights against it.

Excellent

Anna Lowe books continue to build the cast of characters. Got to love an author who writes a strong man and woman. These are no wimps. Truly a superb job. Love listening to a book when I can't read.

Mates

A fast and furious ride of a wolf shifter story. No matter how hard Lana and Ty try to fight it they are meant to be mates. Even with rogues on the loose and his father hating her family. They have a fight on their hands. I received a complimentary audio and I am voluntarily giving a review.

Ty and Lana.... finally!!

What did you like best about this story?

Ty and Lana continue denying their destiny, but some things can't be stopped. Lana is a strong, smart wolf that keeps Ty on his toes. And, Ty protects what his!. ( they both also like pie ,lol )

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

~ A Serenade of the Moon ~

Any additional comments?

Overall a good story, The narration was mediocre, but I've always enjoyed Anna Lowe's writing, so that makes up for that.

Shifter Romeo & Juliet

If you like a good love story but don't want to commit to 7 plus hours then this is for you. There's love & tenderness, hope for the future, loneliness, outside threats, feelings of betrayal, sexy time & destiny. It's just up to you to read/listen to find out which order they come in.

Great Story

I really enjoyed listening to this story, I have to admit I did read this book way back when it was first released which was many books ago so I didn't remember all of it.

The story revolves around Ty, the eldest son of the alpha, and Lana the daughter of the alpha's sworn enemy. Ty has always believed that he missed the chance to meet his fated mate 12 years ago. He returned home and caught a whif of what he believed was his fated mate but he couldn't find her and to him she became the phantom.

Lana is visiting his pack's ranch because her grandmother is moving there. She meets Ty and their attraction is instant. Will Ty break his rule and allow himself to love? Will they both go against the alpha?

All this is going on against a backdrop of rouges butchering sheep belonging to neighbouring humans. The loss of land the pack has always used which would bring humans closer to them bringing with that the risk of discovery.

Can all these problems be overcome? Will there be a HEA?

This book has great chemistry, strong characters and a good storyline added to that it is beautifully read by Kelsey Osborne who puts so much feeling into her narration. A very enjoyable few hours were spent engrossed in this story. I now want to listen to the next book in this series.

A very enjoyable way to reconnect with these book

I have surprisingly enjoyed listening to this book and it is interesting that the audible version gives one a different perspective of the story. The differences I have noticed between listening to audio and reading is that Ty comes across much more as an alpha male and he is just so slow on the realization of who and what Lana is to him. Quite funny.
It also really comes across more in audible that Lana is so much stronger than you think and a perfect alpha female.
I have really enjoyed listening and picking up subtle differences in the story from my memories. I also found it interesting that listening makes you pick up parts you don't give much credence too.
Good descriptive narration but I still find it strange having one person do all the voices. I do have to speed the narration up to 1.25 as it seems too slow at normal speed for me. I would also like a bit more inflection when it is called for.
In summation I have to say I am enjoying listening to audible books as the convenience is fantastic. I can do so many things while listening to a book.
Really dislike the father Tyrone, he has no redeeming qualities at all, he is manipulative, cruel and unloving and the she-wolf man-eater Audrey seems to be a bad fit with this well balanced pack.
I have read and reviewed this book and have included that review below but this audible book was a gift from the author.

Book Review
12 years have passed since Lana first visited the ranch with her grandmother. When she was there she kept scenting the most amazing smell but could not pin it down. She thought she had found her mate but no luck.
Ty has been pining for his mate ever since he came home from a trip and smelt her scent on the ranch. He has never been sure if it was a figment of his imagination and was under a lot of stress as the Alpha heir. His father had already tried to force an arranged mating and was giving Ty hassle.
When Lana arrives with her grandmother for a visit again she knows Ty is her mate but he ignores her and fights against his wolf as Lana is a Dixon, his father’s enemy.
When Lana is put into danger by a pack member will Ty see sense and claim his mate, even if she is a Dixon?
Trouble is brewing in the background for the pack.

I loved it

Wow. I am normally not to much of western fan but I really loved this shifter western. It has just the right mix of mystery and troublemakers to make for an interesting story, even if there is one woman you just want to hit over the head. Lol but you will have to read to see what I mean.
Small overview:
It only took one smell of each other on the wind to change them forever even if they didn't run into each other at that time but 12 years later things have changed they have changed and live is going to get interesting lol.

Great story and I was truly caught up it. If you like shifters then give this story a try. I think you love it.
