Geena Samue has been an interstellar insurance investigator for the last thirty years. Her twenty-seven-year-old son Ron Samue knows what he’s about as well. His girlfriend, Lexi Stevens, despite being new to the business, now leads the Aeolus Investigations team as they take on a mission to rescue the kidnapped wife and children of a Borgolian prince.
The team is hindered in their efforts by a cold trail, Lexi’s own trainee status, and the problem that this was more than a simple kidnapping.
None of them fully realized what they were getting themselves into by taking the assignment, an assignment that becomes deadly.
Aeolus Investigations novels are intended to be read in order as each story builds on those prior books. None have cliff hangers, so feel free to skip around. If you do, you'll find yourself wondering where some of their new technology and new characters came from. After enjoying the excitment of Avenger, I hope you choose to continue onto book 3, Palladin in which Lexi takes her first space walk.
