Publisher's summary

A deep dive into high stakes killings, conspiracies, and crimes!

Ruthless killers and murderers for hire: they are here, there, and everywhere. They lurk in the shadows, ready to pounce. They terminate on command. And, in the process, they change the course of the world. They are among the world's most cold-hearted, deadly, and emotionless figures. They are assassins, and they have a long history of grievous deeds.

From the cunning, calculating, government-trained warriors to the psychopathic, homegrown freelancers, you can find them all in Assassinations: The Plots, Politics, and Powers Behind History-Changing Murders. Exposed are the hidden agendas as well as the open warfare. The cynical preparations and devastating aftermaths are laid bare.

You will quickly find yourself immersed in a world that is filled with killings made to seem like suicides, murders that were designed to look like heart attacks or overdoses, and accidents that, in reality, were carefully orchestrated deaths.

Highly Recommend

Amazing work of research. Very compelling and balanced. Early on, the narration was a little bit affectation but got better. Fascinating and historical.

I enjoyed it

I like. It. I think I like Close encounters of the Fatal Kind better. I’m not sure why he wrote this book since much of it is identical to the earlier book. It is entertaining. I’m glad the author keeps working away at his writing cottage industry

The Absolute Worst book I’ve listened to yet!!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!
Title is Assassinations but it has very little to do with that topic unless you go with some people died. They may have been assassinated?!?
Otherwise it’s all UFOs, mind control, Men in Black, conspiracies that may be but real but no real content. Just a lot of maybes and nothing factual or historical. Lots and lots of words that said nothing…

Bait and Switch- AVOID

If you are considering listening to this audio book because you interested in history or true crime and find the study of assassinations particularly fascinating, be warned, this book is a complete rip-off. Some genuine cases of actual assassinations are briefly touched on, but the majority of this book is a ten-story belly flop dive into National Enquirer-style speculation on UFO conspiracies and Illuminati machinations with some non-relevant blather about the crimes of various killers like Jack the Ripper. Saucy Jack was a murderer, but he was not an assassin. An assassin is someone who kills a person of political or social standing, usually for a specific agenda other than pure bloodlust. As an ardent student of real history, I found this book alternatingly infuriating and exasperating. Save your money and your time and look for something else to listen to.

Worst book ever

I could not finish this book. The content was bizarre and unbelievable. When it went from
UFO’s to Jins that was the end for me
