Well, obviously I didn't like it. It wasn't really literature, and it wasn't really romance because you could see around every corner. To me, that's quite boring.
Sometimes I just need a simple romance to checkout of life's stressfulness, but I found this book very poorly done. I don't have high expectations when I chose these quick little romances, even at that it was bad and dragged on far too long. The story could have been summed up in a short story for a magazine.
One dimensional characters, predictable, melodramatic, shallow, a waste of a credit, a complete waste of time
There is no way that the author is a man, no men actually feel or act that way. It was a great book, a real tear jerker. I wish I had a man who loved that deep and could express his love that way. Don't get me wrong my husband is awesome.
This book seems to target a less sophisticated audience who wants there hand held through every page and needs to be kept awake with melodrama and cheesy romance.
Lack of development in characters and story lines and individual scenes.
Narration was good.
unknow for now i've bought a few
was not the narrator per say - it just sounded cheesy
The was the first time I actually thought a movie was better than the book.
I first saw the film, which I found very moving and somehow more low-key regarding all the romance. I found the romance in the audiobook sometimes a bit too much, a bit clinging, but it is possible that Barry Bostwick's sometimes very theatrical reading caused this.
All in all: mwah. The film was better.
