Tobias Wolff is the author of two memoirs; This Boy's Life, which won a Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Biography and was adapted for film, and In Pharaoh's Army: Memories of the Lost War. He's also written a novella, The Barracks Thief, which won a PEN / Faulkner Award for Fiction; three short-story collections, among them The Night in Question; and a novel, Old School, parts of which first appeared in The New Yorker. He was the editor of The Best American Short Stories 1994.
