The Duggars: 20 and Counting! is a behind-the-scenes look at the supersize family that fascinates millions of television viewers around the world. From Idaho to Istanbul, people want to know how Arkansas parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar efficiently and lovingly manage 19 happy, home-schooled children without going into debt—or losing their minds!
This is an entertaining and enlightening collection of stories, photos, recipes, tips, traditions, and practical ideas designed to answer the questions of the curious, such as: Why do you have so many children? How do you provide for your family financially? How do you handle mealtimes? Transportation? Laundry? Birthdays? How are your children so well behaved? Why do all your children have names that begin with J?
Since their first documentary broke viewership records on the Discovery Health Channel, the Duggars have appeared in American and international news media, sharing their rock-solid faith and their overriding belief that “children are a blessing from God”. In this audiobook, Jim Bob and Michelle share their story, beginning with their own childhoods. They reveal how their growing-up years shaped their philosophy of parenting. It continues with tales of their big, busy family, whose televised documentaries and frequent appearances in news shows and newspapers have created an international following.
The Duggars share, with humility and humor, the family routines and guidelines they’ve learned through biblical study and trial and error—ideas that can help make your home a place of peace, love, and support: Financial lessons for debt-free living, organizing systems for a clutter-free home, home-schooling methods and schedules, training tips for little ones, relationship builders for older children, and favorite Duggar family resources.

Only down side was the I (Jim Bob) vs I (Michelle) all read by Michelle. I love all the info provided and encouragement on parenting stresses. Also neat to see how they refuse to go into debt!! Great to listen to!!

I’m a huge Duggar fan; I never miss an episode of 19k.a.c.
Based on the recent heartbreaking headlines, I was curious to go back and read this book that was written closer to the time of events - not to get scoops necessarily, but to hear about how they deal with challenging times in their family.
No matter what, I think we can all agree that these are sad and difficult moments for all involved.
Lot of tips in how to live a fruitful life with love and faith. A deep dive to the life of the Duggars family.
If you are interested in raising a family that serves others and not yourselves this listen is for you.
A love that Multiplies - some of the same stories
Yes - just gets better!
Their humble beginnings & their will to serve the Lord even in the worst of times.
Michelle Duggar's voice is a but tiresome because she read like she is reading the book to small children rather than a more sophisitcated audience but that actually worked for me since I am also a homeschool mother who does not get much time to be single tasked. Her tone helped me to retain more of the information that way.
Since I do not have a cable subscription, I have heard many things about the Duggars but have only seen an episode or two on Netflix. Michelle Duggar shares how parenting a large family is possible and gives parents of smaller families hope to manage basic tasks.
I loved learning about Josie Duggar's birth and the logistics involved.
Yes; however, it simply was not possible due to the length and the fast pace of my life as a mother of three homeschooled kids.
I loved michelle read the book
loved the whole thing
inspirational family with a love for God and others
