WONDERFULLY narrated! Rob Lowe's life (to date) story is intelligently crafted, full of fun, honesty, is detailed, but concise. I would never label myself a Lowe 'fan', nor do I go nuts for famous people (because the reality is usually horribly disappointing), but after listening to this book, my affection for Rob Lowe has grown exponentially - I know we could be friends.

Rob Lowe was captivating. he speaks from his heart and we see a humble gracious thoughtful human being. it feels as though he's telling you these stories over a coffee table at his house. I bought this book so many times to go and research one of the movies he talks about.
I think I saw 6 new Rob Lowe movies while reading this book movies I didn't even know existed.
he revealed a side of Hollywood that I never knew all going on when I was growing up

Loved this whole book! I seriously could listen to Rob talk for hours!! Great stories about his entire career and getting sober. Definitely worth a a listen!

Fantastic book. Sad it took me so long to read it. Listening to Rob Lowe read the book was very moving.

Fasinating

I really enjoyed hearing about Rob's entrance into a life of many challenges and rewards. Most sincere.

I don’t normally write book reviews - but this book is worth making an exception

I loved this book for many reasons. I always thought of Rob Lowe as a pretty but shallow actor. This book showed me that I was very wrong about him. He is indeed a very deep intelligent and good human being. The mistakes he’s made in his life he has owned up to and learn from. His battle with alcoholism - and the emotional growth he obtained allowed him to become a stable husband and father. This book is well worth the time to read. The last few chapters pull it all together in a very meaningful way.

Rob Lowe Reads it himself!

If you're a Rob Lowe fan, do you really need to know more than the fact that he reads his book himself? But if you do, I found this to be an interesting look into the life of a Hollywood actor of my generation. I enjoyed all the behind-the-scenes moments and Mr. Lowe is only generous and positive about all (and there are many) his Hollywood co-stars -- no snarkiness here. Best of all are Mr. Lowe's impressions of other actors. I've listened to this twice. Start listening already!

Yes, because it was like he was telling them to me as a conversation. I loved how he read it.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved how his life unfolded & how so many events in his life were related to some huge moments in history. He was a big part of my growing up, and its nice to hear all those stories. He has led an amazing life. Plus he seems like a kind person, very relatable and real.
