"I've experienced a whole lot the last few years, and I have a lot to share. So I hope that you'll take a moment to sit back, relax, and enjoy the words I've put together for you in this book. I think you'll find I've left no stone unturned, no door unopened, no window unbroken, no rug unvacuumed, no ivories untickled. What I'm saying is, let us begin, shall we?"

I really like Ellen.. but I really didn't like this book. I expected more of a memoir, or at least to learn something about her life. 57 chapters later, I know that she can make some pretty weird noises (I listened on audio book) but didn't come away with anything else. One chapter was entirely about counting sheep. I'm not kidding. Maybe I just had unfair expectations of the book, but at least it was short.
I like Ellen - I like her show and I think she's incredibly smart and funny. However, I found this book to be lacking in all areas. it wasn't smart - it and worse - it wasn't very funny. I read that in other reviews and thought - well they just don't like her enough and don't have a good sense of humor. Wrong.... I really should have taken the other reviews to heart.
Not necessarily - but I'll think twice before getting another from Ellen.
disappointment. I really like Ellen - and thought the book would be better than the other reviews mentioned. I was wrong. I should have taken to heart what the other reviews said.
I was expecting humer. Instead I got Ellen's rambling train of thoughts. Which would have been fine if there were any moments of substance
I love and admire her and if she's going to write a book I need genuine transparency or intellect!
I don't think do
I love Ellen so I'd listen to this a few hundred times more! Its crazy, Zany, but with a Heartfelt Underlining tone!
If you love Ellen, You'll love this book!
Fun and funny!
I listened to this audiobook while driving cross country and it seemed to shorten the trip. My daughter enjoyed it too!

I have always liked Ellen Degeneres. Hearing herself narrate her own book is fantastic! Her humor is fun and her outlook on life is wonderful.
Ellen does a great job performing her work. Even made adjustments to the book to make it appropriate for audio.
Light and fun listen. Made me smile and chuckle, and warmed my heart a few times.
Listening to Ellen Is like watching her TV except i am not tied down to the TV. I can listen and laugh outside, while driving my car or while relaxing in bed. I enjoy using my imagination to see her expressions as she reads her book. I would highly recommend this listen to everyone!! It really does put a smile on your face. My husband smiles at me as I listen and laugh out loud.
Loved the humor throughout the book. She talks about situations we are all familiar with, she talks about things that have happened to all of us. She is really down to earth.
I loved the chapter Ellen has on sounds she makes and she says for those of you reading you will have to just imagine the sounds I will make and for those listening - you can hear them. HAHA- she is a hoot!
No - I listen and repeat chapters when i need to de-stress.
buy it! You will not regret it.
