Candace Cameron Bure first became known to millions as a costar on the hit ABC television series Full House. Today, like her brother Kirk Cameron (Growing Pains, Fireproof), she is the rare Hollywood actor who is outspoken about her Christian faith and how it helps overcome certain obstacles.
Bure’s healthy lifestyle has been featured in US Weekly and People magazines as well as national talk shows including The View and NBC’s Today. In Reshaping It All, she continues the story, inspiring women to embrace a healthier lifestyle by moving faith to the forefront, making wise choices, and finding their worth in the eyes of God. Candace shares a candid account of her struggle with food and ultimately her healthy outlook on weight despite the toothpickthin expectations of Hollywood.
More than a testimony, here is a motivational tool that will put readers on the right track and keep them there. In addition to practical advice, Candace offers a biblical perspective on appetite and self control that provides encouragement to women, guiding them toward freedom.

Yes, definitely! It has been such an inspiration for me to listen to "Reshaping It All". I just completed it an hour ago and I am sure I will take another listen as it has so many laywers and so much depth. As Candace said in the book about sharing her testimony : "If you had the cure for cancer, wouldn't you also want to share that with everyone?" Not saying that this is the cure for cancer, but it has/and will help me tremendously, hence do I want to spread the word.
I can't pinpoint one, as they kept comming in every single chapter!
Candace Cameron Bure
No - I used it as a little treat for my self - so I only allowed myself an hour a day when cooking our family dinner.
This is NOT only a book for devoted Christians. This is a book for devoted human beings who want to do better. As Cameron Bure say: "Being good, just isn't good enough".
I loved the book and the fact that Candace narrated the book. I'm hoping to put many of her ideas into practice. The only negative I have is that all the recipes are not included as a PDF. Since this is an audible book, I shouldn't have to write down all these recipes. Including a pdf wouldn't be that difficult and many other books already offer this option as well.
I liked best that it was written by a Christian. I would rather keep my books inside of the family of Christ when I can.
This book and the reading was a bit too cutesy. the side humor came off as annoying. Also I should know better than to buy a book for a normal life, written by someone in show business. As much as they want us to think they're like us....they're not.
Love Candace Cameron, but this book was not meant for a 52 year old woman.
No. I just can't identify with her and I don't like her reading style.
Honestly I am the type of person who will not sit down to read a book unless it is just to read the bible or for a bible study. I also have a problem with my mind wondering. I truly have to be doing more than one thing at a time to completely focus. I focus better with listening to a story. However in this one I think I would also like the printed form to be able to "Follow" along so that I can highlight and better note take. There is so much in this that I want it in print. However I love having the audio version 1. because it is Candace talking and I love hearing her read. 2. I just absorb it so much more from hearing it.
Not sure there is one that I could compare it to (that I have read). It is not a diet plan book. It is a take it all to God plan, however it does an amazing job of bringing reality to it with stories almost anyone can relate to.
I love her voice and how she shows her emotion through it while reading. Makes you feel like you are just talking with a friend instead of listening to a book.
There was not just A moment there were many moments. There were so many times while listening that I kept saying to myself "why didn't I think of that" or "WOW never thought of it that way" I thought this book would be more about do's and don't of weight loss. Nope It was about taking it all to God so that you can be successful. It changed my way of thinking toward pleasing God not to pleasing me.
I have already recommended this book to friends and will recommend to more. Love it. I got so much more out of this book than I ever expected to get out of it.
I am a public speaker and entertainer that lives in The Beautiful Lake of The Ozarks in Missouri.
I am a very happy, white, Christian, Republican, wife, and mother so I figured I would find her easy to relate to. Even I think she is just too chipper, cutesy, and living in a fantasy of innocence for words. In my opinion, unless you are cut from the same cloth, you are probably going to be even more annoyed by this book than I was.
She seems to be a lovely, lovely lady with a positive attitude and an excellent outlook on life.
Preview this one before you commit to owning it.
It was not what I expected, but in the best way possible. Loved the idea of looking at weight loss from your faith. It has definitely changed my view. It is nice to have such a strong person in faith in the spotlight. I have found a new respect for Candace.
Candace is a great role model for girls and women. She truly is a vessel for God and even though she is a celebrity, everyday people can relate to her struggles. The book had great insight and it focused on Christian values.
Will be returning this audible. I had no idea who she was before I bought this audible. But don't worry, if you too want to figure out who she is
she will let you know over and over, right down to her 80's attire and looks. If I would have known that she was a child star I would have passed on this book. This book is more about her personal journey, than helping others. I wanted a book that incorporates faith and physical fitness, instead I got her biography, with some recipes. I would not recommend this book to anyone who wants to get fit and strengthen their walk with god. It's important to note that this review is only applicable up to chapter four, that's all the Candice I could take.
