Superstar Gene Simmons learned to speak English by listening to rock music, while Liv Warfield, Prince's muse, discovered her voice with a karaoke machine. The well-known director Gus Van Sant found cinematography by making music videos, while Dave Metzger, the Disney composer behind Frozen, fell in love with orchestration by endlessly listening to the Star Wars theme. Music inspired each of them and this book tells how. All book proceeds will go to The Fender Music Foundation to help make a difference for students through music.
