This Lesson Tells the Basics of Tweeting-Helpful

The basics of Facebook is the top of my social media. I have a Twitter handle, but have never used it.This short book totally explained how and all the steps to how to 'tweet.'

The author used music as an example for how to use Twitter. However, I think you can insert any topic and the formula works; politics, sports, books, just about anything!

I'm grateful to the author Sean Levi for explaining a topic that has always seemed so complex to me.

Eddie Leonard Jr. has a solid, professional voice that kept me intrigued the whole time. Recommend!

Really great information, but a few annoyances

I thought this book had some great information and will really help anybody looking to build a fanbase (not only in music, but in other performing areas as well). It is short, but that is a good thing as it keeps your attention and remains focussed throughout. With that being said, I do have a few issues. Firstly, it sounds like the narrators voice has been sped up, I would prefer it if the reading was slightly slower, and the 'script' makes the narrator have to repeat the whole title (which takes about 30 seconds do so each time), this should be changed. Other than that, the narration was clear, entertaining and engaging.

Overall, I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone interested in pursuing performing as a career.

Simple Starting Tool

The book is a very basic intro into using the Twitter platform as well as other apps to manage it. It skims over analytics. This is a nicely packaged crash course for anyone brand new to this type of marketing.

The perfect guide to get your music published!

Where does Music Marketing rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Music Marketing is a very condensed (under 1 hour) guide to how to use various forms of social media to promote your music. My own son is trying to get his music known, so we both took notes. Author Eddie Leonard succinctly gives direction on how exactly to tap into Twitter, Instragram, Facebook, and other social media sites.

What other book might you compare Music Marketing to and why?

This book is similar to the Dummies series (which I love).

Have you listened to any of Eddie Leonard Jr.’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have never listened to Eddie Leonard but enjoyed his voice and cadence. For such an information-heavy topic, he spoke slowly enough to be able to understand and take notes.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Initially I found the book to be simplistic as I am fairly social media savvy. However, in approaching the book from a newbie's perspecitive, I really appreciated the step-by-step approach.

Any additional comments?

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
