Red-hot advice from the redhead who doesn't pull any punches

Mother, wife, and fan-favorite Caroline Manzo has been through it all as one of the original breakout stars of Bravo's The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The explosive and addicting reality series has seen some of the craziest moments in Real Housewives history, but Caroline has managed to set herself apart as the levelheaded, fiercely loyal, and down-to-earth member of the cast.

Now for the first time, Caroline, who is known for her no-nonsense advice, "tells you something" about what it really takes to juggle three kids and a husband (and still maintain your sanity), all while living in the spotlight. Her wisdom on family, life, and love, and her shockingly honest confessions about beauty, body image, and even plastic surgery, resonate with women of every generation. Equal parts funny, sincere, and revealing, Caroline exposes the sweeter, more reflective side of herself that fans of the show might not always see.

Filled with personal stories, family photos, and Caroline's characteristic humor, Let Me Tell You Something gives fans and listeners an all-access, behind-the-scenes pass into the lives of this real New Jersey housewife and her family, where honest advice and practical life lessons are served up as only Caroline can. With her contagious, positive attitude and tips for success sprinkled throughout the book, readers will fall in love with their favorite housewife all over again.

Told Something Absolutely Fabulous

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this to all of my young female friends. It's absolutely think there's some wisdom in this book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Let Me Tell You Something?

Her words of wisdom on parenting!

Any additional comments?

This book was such a great book to listen to! I love that Caroline narrated her book. I think she would make a fantastic narrator for any book and heck I would love listening to any book she narrated. Her actual book was such a great book. She told it like it was and showed my first thoughts about her from watching RHONJ, she is one classy lady. I loved listening to the different sections of behind the scenes, ask Caroline and the stories from her children. The stories and advice she have from parenting to marriage were so right on. There are some things in parenting that I do that she discusses and honestly it's comforting hearing her talk about it because it makes me feel reassured about my parenting. I don't treat my children as my best friends but I will be completely honest l do not shelter my children from the real world and I have had people look down on me for it. I think my children will be able to be adults that can live and function appropriately and happily in life if they know what real life looks like. Now if I could work on my marriage to mirror something like Caroline has, I would be one happy lady. Lol! I just love that she's a real person with real issues! It has nothing to fame worship. I know as well as anyone tv shows are edited for ratings but listening to this book told me my impressions of her were accurate. She's what heroines should be made of! In the end, another thing that I loved is my first books I fell in love with and the first books both my children fell in love with just so happens to be the first books she loved. I even did a report on why it was my favorite book in first grade! Do not get me started on Gone with the Wind. My daughter came close to being names Vivian Liegh, or Scarlet but my husband refused. In the end, I absolutely love this book and love Caroline's wisdom. May I be as wise and have a life as hers when I grow older!

Another Housewife, from NewJersey.

Although Carolyn Manzo is well spoken & down-to-earth, loving and experienced mother and Wife. I find Some of her parenting advice and life advice to be too cliche, and not very practical in today's world. Her children are spoiled rotten and elitists. I do admire how close the family is though. And as the matriarch of the Manzo family You have to give her credit for that. Allowing your children to throw ham at each other is a pretty infantile game. Her giggle is infectious.

Fun, Quick Listen

If you could sum up Let Me Tell You Something in three words, what would they be?

A fun book to listen to, but there's a lot of repetition throughout the book

Would you be willing to try another book from Caroline Manzo? Why or why not?

Yes, I would! I enjoy her personality. I would say the writing wasn't amazing, but her delivery was the Caroline I know and love, so it made it worth it.

Inspiring!!

I fell in love with Mrs. Manzo when RHONJ aired and she's still my favorite despite not being on the show anymore. Her honesty, no b.s. take on life and love for others is absolutely inspirational. ❤️

Self-inflating

Let Me Tell You Something by Caroline Manzo is a good read if you want to hear all about Caroline's superiority as a wife, mother, sister, friend, consumer, host, and businesswoman. I bought the book because I respect Caroline's no-nonsense demeanor. While I enjoyed the narration and the stories told in person by her close family members, I did not appreciate all the self-inflated "advice" (boasting) from the author or the condescending manner in which she conveyed the messages.

Fluffy but good

Great pandemic fluff! Didn’t like it as much as Melissa gorgas book as I find Caroline to be kind of a know it all, but I did like to hear her voice and her stories were amusing. Also, her father in law was totally in the mob and he died of a mob hit! Now on to the Teresa Guidice books!
