Entertaining interview with an interesting author

I loved that this interview also contained snippets of the actual audio books. I've read the books, but after hearing the performance here, I may look into downloading the audio books and listening to the story again.

Daniel Handler is very entertaining, even as himself, and even tells where the name Lemony Snicket came from. Definitely worth a listen, but as was noted in another review, the quality of his end of the phone call is slightly unfortunate.

Good interview

I learned a number of things from listening to this interview. It's nice to know that writers have second thoughts about what they write. But it's nice to know that he wasn't scared to put his imagination on the page either.

Ah, that's what it is all about!

NIce and informative. I thought I had heard about Lemony Snicket, but wasn't sure. This free interview gave me a nice overview of what the series was about, how it came about, and what it going to happen with it. Better than expected; thank you.

Lemony Snicket

I certainly learned a lot about the Lemony Snicket series that I did not know before I listened to the interview. The interviewer did an excellent job in coaxing the information out of Mr. Snicket. I did find Mr. Snicket a bit irritating, perhaps that was intentional? But I do like his writing and his stories are excellent. After all few found Hemmingway endearing, most didn’t like him, but they loved his writing, and that is what it is all about.

Interesting, but still very strange.

I haven't been able to get into these books. I got the interview to see if that would help. I have a child that likes the books, but I think they are strange. The interview didn't help change my mind. I guess my warped sense of humor doesn't understand this warped sense of humor.
I do like author interviews, most of the time. I think there are some great tidbits in this, so I am giving it 4 stars.
