Emmy Award-winner Damian Lewis, who stars as Former Congressman and U.S. Marine Sergeant Nicholas Brody in the hit series Homeland, narrates this original Homeland story of Brody's journey into exile. Picking up at the end of Season 2 after he has parted from Carrie at the border, Brody relates, in the form of a letter to Carrie, his desperate escape by sea and land as the world's most-hunted fugitive. Guided off the grid by a former CIA analyst and a battle-scarred French mercenary, he stays in the shadows...both physically and emotionally. But wherever he goes and whoever he meets, he cannot stop thinking about Carrie.
This powerful audio-only story is the perfect complement to your Season 3 viewing, and a great way for current and new fans to get to know what drives one of the most fascinating characters on television.

Enjoyed the preview very much. I liked how Damien Lewis reads. Some actors do not make good readers but he is good. Thanks audible for the preview.
I thought it was Super Awesome that Damian Lewis was the narrator for this. It very honestly sold the whole story as a prequel to Homeland Season 3!
unpredictable plot. not too graphic or gorey. descriptive. easy to follow. credible ideas about real situations. would like to hear more.
The perfect story for listening between seasons 2 and 3, it continues where season 2 ends and tells what happened before season 3 begins. Lewis tells the story perfectly so you're completely ready for the first episode of the next season.
Even if you've watched season 3 (and beyond), this is an excellent listen. Highly recommeded for Homeland fans, if you're not a Homeland fan you won't have any idea what's going on.
It is a great story that ties in with the TV show, my only complaint is that it is too short!
Absolutely! Anyone you like the show would only gain by hearing this short story.
No, but I’m looking forward to hearing more! That voice is one of the reasons why I love his acting.
Being alone with your thoughts is not always a bad thing
More Homeland fiction would be great!
Just another girl with too many books and not enough time for them all.
29 minutes of a story that feels like The Bourne series and I was dropped in the middle of it all. Just ok. Wish there was more to the story but not enough to watch the show.
This is a short story, told in the form of a letter, and worked well enough that way
His voice is of course just right, as he is the screen actor too
It is set for a follow up. If on the small screen or as a book.
