Such a sad loss

I too thoroughly enjoy books read by Frank. Like one of the other reviewers I would love to know the names of books that these excerpts were taken from. Can anyone help?

I was feeling annoyed for having to switch from Frank Muller to George Guidall after the 4th part of Dark Tower by Stephen King in Wolves of the Calla. George is a master in his own right but after books of Muller’s Roland I just couldn’t get George’s vocalisations of these characters. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and the Dark Tower would never be the same again.
What a talent. Sad that I found you and lost it too soon.

favorite narrator ever

Before listening to Stephen King's, the Talisman, I never really fully appreciated how a narrator could make or break an audio book. Frank Muller changed all that with his multiple voices and depth of expression. I found myself rewinding and listening again just for the hilarity in his cast of characters.

Great tribute to the Best Reader

What made the experience of listening to Frank Muller the most enjoyable?

I listened to Frank Muller night after night as I worked at the Post Office sorting mail. He transported me to so many worlds, as has no other reader before or since. I love this tribute & hope it will introduce new listeners to him. Thank you Audible for continuing to make his books available.

What does Frank Muller bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He became each one of the characters.

The GOAT

Frank was the first ever narrator I listened to, in The Green Mile. He was amazing, and spoiled me to anyone else. George Guiddal came close, in his best years, and Travis Baldree is up there, as well as Grover Gardner, but, Frank Muller still towers above 'em all. Will anyone ever measure up? It's been over two decades and Frank is still high up in a tier all by himself, the immortal tier. Read for us the many books in heaven Frank. I look forward to one day listening to your new works of art. M

A Voice Still Missed

The first book I ever listened to was Frank's reading of The Great Gatsby. That was the beginning of more than a quarter of a century of listening to books. Soon after that first book, I began to choose books that were read by Frank and was introduced to many brilliant authors I would not have otherwise picked up. Long commutes, days of yard work and vacations spent doing major projects became times I looked forward to because while doing them, I got to listen to Frank's story telling. I was delighted to find this, but was crying by the end.
