Great performances but background noise in audio.

Great snapshot of a broken New York post 9/11. Needs slight improvement in audio quality.

Amazing narration and story but massive techerror

Where does Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The best!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close?

-

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

-

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes!

Any additional comments?

There is a massive technical error in one of the last chapters which resulted in, that I actually was unable to hear a part of this chapter. I would like my money back!

Sublime

This book is beautiful. But what makes it even more special is the narration. Normally I listen to an audiobook while driving my car and then read the physical book when I’m home. But for this one I wouldn’t want to miss one bit of the narration. It’s like a sound movie, if that makes sense. And as such it deserves... an Oscar!

I just finished it and am falling apart.wonderful

Brilliant, wise, emotional, funny and increadibly sad at the same time. Perfect narrators made it very vivid.

Fantastic

This is such a great book. Hearing it as an audio book was a great experience as well, the narrators are fantastic and perfectly fit the characters.
Especially the grandparents I loved those narrators.
The main character Oscar is actually pretty annoying and egoistic but he is a kid so....
A few plot elements are left unresolved like what was in the safe or what happened to Oscars friend mr. Black. This type of thing does not normally bother me but since this book has no real plot to speak of (it is more intellectual/philosophical musings and parallels to ww2) it would have been nice if the author had followed through on the few plot elements that exist.

But overall highly recommended.
