    "Not that revealing"

I shouldn't be surprised based on the length of the audio book, but this work just didn't have enough biographical information on the subject. Then again, Vonnegut wasn't as complex as one would believe based on his oddball works of fiction.

It is dated, as is the information on the subject author. To today's generation, this is ancient history and even when listening I started to realize just how long ago the 1960's were.

Give this a try if you are a hard core Vonnegut fan, but give it a pass if you're just a casual reader of his works.

Eclectic mixer of books of my youth and ones I always meant to read, but didn't.

    "Unnecessary"

This adjunct to the text of Mother Night is wholly unnecessary and, in my view, self indulgent. It is of marginal relevance to the author and of no relevance to the text that I can identify. I wouldn't waste your time (about 15 minutes) listening to it.

    "Excellent book!"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If you enjoy historical fiction -- if you want to be entertain/transported to another time but like to learn something new about a period in time, this book is for you.

    Any additional comments?

I like books that you never want to end. This is one of those....enjoy!
