Were the accents necessary?

Overall a nice story and performance. Only question: were the accents necessary? The accents could be offensive to some listeners, and the narrator couldn't check how to properly pronounce "Tagalog"? Twice? Yikes. Too bad Cheryl didn't narrate it :)

Loved it!

What made the experience of listening to Dancing Lessons: How I Found Passion and Potential on the Dance Floor and in Life the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed listening to the backstories of the dances that I saw on Dancing With the Stars.

What other book might you compare Dancing Lessons: How I Found Passion and Potential on the Dance Floor and in Life to and why?

Any biography - this was the first biography I read or listened to of a professional dancer.

Have you listened to any of Cris Dukehart’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I haven't. However, the audio was going in and out at times. I wonder if the producer copied and pasted it poorly.

Book aside...The accents are horrendous

My issue here isn't with the book. I do not understand why since it's a memoir you wouldn't have the celebrity in question read the title, but the existing narrator is awful. She often does accents for the various characters, including Cheryl's Filipino mother. The fake stereotypical put on accents are awful to listen to at best and downright offensive at worst.
