Publisher's Summary

Bill Graham - June 1969

As owner of the Fillmore West in San Francisco and Fillmore East in New York, Graham ran two of the most beloved music venues in the country during the time of this interview. In June '69, the clubs had only been open for a little more than a year and were already wildly successful; however, Graham would close them the next year.
