Wonderful Audio! Better than reading

I bought this in the hopes that it would be good listening for a few long drives. I couldn't wait to listen to it all! This is one of those books that is better presented as an audio. You are delivered the one liners with perfect timing. I have never watched Ms. Chenoweth do anything significant, only cameo work, but had a sense that she was a character. It's like she is sitting next to you in the car recounting her life thus far. Wonderul experience!

Down to earth reading

This was great easy listening. Kristin is fun and interesting, spawning just enough sarcasm to keep her grounded. Her writing reminds me of Tori Spelling's books. Just fun.

A Little Bit Shallow

I love her singing, but she spends way more time talking about things like her hair extensions than her experiences on the stage. I still think she's great, but I hope she eventually writes something more substantial. It's amazing that she needed a ghost writer to write something this light weight. C'mon Kristy, you can do better. And the title was ridiculous. She's about as un-wicked as they come, so it makes no sense, even with her experience in the show, "Wicked." Pandering.

Absolutely Enjoyed This Book!!!

Where does A Little Bit Wicked rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is one of my top favorite books. I loved living vicariously through her as she shares her ups and downs in her life and career. I really didn't know very much about her and appreciated the honest way she told her story. It was hilarious and beautiful.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Little Bit Wicked?

The funny names she gives everything and the fabulous way she reads her own book. I was so happy to hear that she was the performer.

What about the narrator’s performance did you like?

She is a great performer and has her own unique way of delivering a great story. I didn't want it to end and was shocked when it did. That got us up to 2008...On to the next book?

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When she was taking about the passing of her grandfather or nursing her mother in her time of need. What a great daughter and granddaughter.

Any additional comments?

I highly recommend this book and especially the audio version. I absolutely loved every minute of it.

Somewhat disappointing

I love Kristin Chenoweth and was really excited to hear in her own words about her experiences on Broadway and in movies and television. She is not an engaging narrator. That was a major surprise. And her memoir comes across as surprisingly boring.

As entertaining as Miss Chenoweth can be...

This was written to entertain... And it succeeds... It goes way too fast... Suddenly, sadly it's over... This talented lady has presented her life so far (with its ups and downs) so you smile often and feel the passion all the way through... Truly meant to entertain and enlighten... Thank you Miss Chenoweth... Please continue...

As adorable as she seems

I have always thought that Kristin Chenoweth is adorable. I hope I'm not wrong. If you listen/read her book, that's exactly what you'll find, a woman of faith, music and courage. And adorable, of course. Her voice and talents are amazing, and her story is funny, sweet, very much what you'd expect from here. It was a fun book.

Inspirational, Cute, Gritty, funny, deep !!

Oh my Gosh, I had no Idea what a funny talented southern Belle Kristin is. I Absolutely LOVED this book. I dont EVER read stuff that is light or lithy, but this book is light and sweet and serious and interesting. I could have listened to another ten hours of her stories. Many many people will identify with her humor and dry wit. I absolutely recommend reading this book.
