Enjoyable, but transitory
This story doesn’t really have a beginning or end of its own, so it can be a bit unsatisfying in some ways. But it was interesting and I enjoyed it nonetheless. Just keep in mind that you’ll probably want the other books as well. Out of the Shadows is well worth it.

probably the best of the Alien novelizations
before things go crazy the author actually makes relateble interesting characters, and adds to the film Aliens rather than cheapening it.
