Excellent story but...

It was awesome to hear the events from Aiden's life and how it brought him to where he met Cailyn. Loved the POV but the narration left me wishing that there was more emotion in what was being told. It lacked the heart that Aiden grew to have... Just my opinion.

loved it but I didn't like the narrator

The story was awesome as always but I wasn't impressed with the narrator he could have done a better job, or they should have stayed with the other lady she always does a great job telling the stories.

Great book! Narrator 🫣

Such a great book, the narrator was challenging to adjust to. The emphasis on words, specifically “I said, he said, she said”
Was very strange. Almost like an AI voice, but it wasn’t. I’ve listened to this book 3 times now, and I forget about this narration and cringed initially, then it just kinda makes me laugh, cause the other option is me reading it physically.

Great delivery

Such a great way to give the readers a way to be involved in Caitlin and Aiden’s wedding and the visions she was able to see during the time she and all the vessels gathered. I also love that Aiden needed to tell her, in detail, about his past. Loved this book!

Loved!!!

This is an amazing story! If you have read or listened to any of S.J. West books you know she puts her heart and soul into her stories. This book is exceptional, it gives you all the feels and takes you on a Journey through Aidens life! The book shares all of his trials and tribulations but in the end, it shows with the help of a special lady his redemption.

This is an amazing read with Aiden taking the lead in his story to Caylin. It’s one of my all time favorite books, it shows how a man who is broken can become whole.

The narrator was awesome! I totes enjoyed his story telling and he made Aiden even more real to me by giving him a strong voice!

Poor Narration

I have never left a review and have listened to over 500 audible books. This is the worst narrator that I have heard so far. I read this book prior to listening to it. I am saddened that the story was ruined by the narration.

Good read

Was a good book but the different voice for everyone really threw me off but was ok. Nice to know his whole story.

Great addition

I've read all the books in this series and this is a great addition to the story. Loved the realistic nature of relationships and overcoming addictions.

I almost gave up the story all together due to the narrators ability to emphasize correctly or pause at the right moment. However, I needed to know the story. Once I atuned my ears to not cause me to cringe over the poor narrating, I was swept up in the story. The authors imagination and writing talent force me into searching for the next book again and again. Thank you S.J. West for sharing your gift.
