Characters are funny. I love the family especially Nyla's grandpa... I was not expecting to really like this since I don't normally read/listen to this trope. I was amazingly surprised how much I enjoyed it. I like the narrator's voice.

Who wrote this?
I've read many books by these 2 authors, this book is so different (not in a good way). I listened to 10 hours, and finally gave up. The story is kinda disjointed, with characters that sounded so freaking juvenile. The narrator whispered throughout the book, and didn't have much range.
