Critic reviews

"AI Harmony provides much needed nomenclature and tangible examples that bring the value of rules-based programming and deep learning into real-world context. Attempting to simplify the far-reaching impact that AI is having (and will continue to have) on the world is no easy feat; Brad manages to capture the art and science of the AI revolution with quick wit, and a deep sense of care for humanity." (Jerrod Howlett, Principal Analytics and Data Science, YouTube)

"This book helps making sense of how the field of AI has emerged from narrow technical applications to where it stands today. I very much appreciate its freshness and writing style." (Christian Terwiesch, Wharton School Professor of Operations, Information and Decisions)

"An enlightening journey through the intricacies of AI's evolution, this book masterfully navigates the past, present, and future of artificial intelligence. It's a must-read for both enthusiasts and newcomers to the field." (Dan Hoevel, Director of Fundraising and Investor Relations, Silver Lake)

THIS is the intro to modern AI I've wanted!

Since the recent AI boom, I've been hungry for audio books to bring me up to speed on the topic. The first two I read ("Ultimate Guide to ChatGPT" and "The Art of Mastering Prompt Engineering for Chat-GPT Made Simple") were filled with fluff and padding with very little useful information. They felt like opportunistic cash-grabs written by folks who know how to optimize for catching the trend.

THIS book feel written by someone who actually knows what they're talking about. Flaugher covers actual academic AI research and theory in a way that is digestible for a general audience. I am an engineer and I learned a lot. In addition to understanding more about the how and why AI works, the book covers a multitude of practical example applications of Generative AI and LLMs spanning research, finance, business, government, and web applications.

If you're interested in learning more about AI, you'll probably want to read a few books on the topic. You will not be disappointed starting here.
