Publisher's summary

The deep relationship between Amaria, the princess of Abalon and Marken, the chancellor’s son, comes to a halting stop after their kingdom is almost annihilated. However, death isn’t the only thing this battle brings.

Elves come to their rescue and, as a souvenir, take the princess home with them. Blinded by fury, the overprotecting queen orders the extermination of the mighty elves. Her captains know they can never win, so they are pleased when Amaria intervenes so desperately that she loses her mother.

The unprepared princess is left to care for a kingdom that will demand her true love.

A Royal Elf of Abalon is the stand-alone continuation of Anna’s elf series. Once again, she has crafted an exciting new tale full of jealousy, betrayals, and death. A Royal Elf of Abalon is a masterpiece created in the genre of Tolkien that you’ll love to the end.

A Delightful Fantasy

I enjoyed this story written by Anna del C. Dye. The author created a world populated by elves, orcs, and humans. The story was charming and held some unexpected twists. My only concern was that the characters seemed a little one dimensional in that the majority of characters were either all good or all bad. George Tintura's narration was fun, and he added an extra layer of entertainment to the story with his various voices. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily posted this review.

superb

I think this is one of the best Elf stories Dye has written. I love how each of her books build upon each other making a vast and complex world.

A coming of age fantasy/fairy tale

A sweet fairy tale about a princess and an evil queen.
The worldbuilding is consistent with other stories in the same -verse. The Elfs live in a sort of Utopia, while the humans are uncivilized, and the orcs are everybody's enemy.
I felt like the story got off to a bit of a slow start, but picked up quickly and had elements of action, drama, adventure, secrets, and of course a romance that ends with a happily-ever-after.
George Tintura gave a great performance, giving life to the characters and story.

Its okay

This one isn't that bad. It was hard for me to really get into the story. It felt like it was dragging out and taking forever to get to the point of the story.

I received this book for free in exchange for my honest opinion.
